Introducing horanVi ...

Born out of a shared passion between guitarist and producer Sam Horan and vocalist Violet, horanVi is an exciting new project that’s sure to captivate music lovers with its unique blend of genres and ambitious sound.

The duo first crossed paths in Leeds as part of the Jazz/Neo Soul/Dub collective Kalyan. When the pandemic hit and the band split, the creative chemistry between Sam and Violet remained strong, leading them to continue exchanging musical ideas across the English Channel. Over time, their collaboration blossomed, eventually culminating in the formation of horanVi.

Now back in the UK, the dynamic writing duo is gearing up to release a series of new tunes throughout the year, building toward the launch of their highly anticipated debut album. Written, produced, and mixed by Sam from his home studio in London, the album promises to be an eclectic and adventurous journey through sound. While jazz serves as the foundation, the album stretches beyond the genre, merging elements of Rock, Alt Indie, and Neo Soul into a progressive and boundary-pushing exploration.

To close out 2024, horanVi released their featured track, "In Blue," giving fans a taste of what’s to come in the new year. The song, now streaming on all major music platforms, is the perfect blend of their genre-defying style, with unconventional song structures, cinematic elements, and the raw, emotional power of Violet’s vocals.
